Nadine Strossen, speaker
The immediate past President of the American Civil Liberties Union, Nadine Strossen was named one of America’s “100 Most Influential Lawyers” by The National Law Journal, and several other publications have named her one of the country’s most influential women. The American Bar Association also honored her in 2017 with the prestigious Margaret Brent Women Lawyers of Achievement Award. Strossen’s 2018 book, “HATE: Why We Should Resist It with Free Speech,” Not Censorship, which has earned praise from ideologically diverse experts across the legal and political spectrums, will be the basis for what is certain to be an enlightening conversation on hate speech and constitutional freedom in modern times.
