Don your gay apparel – or your ugliest holiday sweater, gather friends and family and join the Choral Society of Pensacola as we raise our voices in a holiday sing-along hosted by Generation Church.
We’ll meet at 5 PM on Sunday, December 16 at the Rex Theatre (18 N. Palafox St.) for an hour of favorite carols and songs, followed by hot chocolate and cookies. You know all these tunes, the Church will project the lyrics on the big screen, and Amanda Pangle of the Choral Society will help us start and stop together (with a little help along the way if we need it). We’ll take a break to hear a couple of numbers from our women’s ensemble and our special guests from Pensacappella (directed by Dan Signor). But most of the time it’s a community effort – and all ages are welcome.
Admission is free, but we hope you’ll bring a non-perishable food item for the good folks at Manna who provide our neighbors in need healthy food options. And remember to bring your phone for selfies with Santa!
Also, if you love to sing, consider auditioning for our spring semester. You’ll find more information here.
